Costa Rica is located in Central America, bordering the Caribbean sea and North Pacific ocean, between Nicaragua and Panama. the population is about 4 million people. San Jose is the capital and largest city in the country. The two main languages spoken in Costa Rica is Spanish and English. There are many other indigenous languages spoken in Costa Rica such as cabecar, maleku, buglere, and Guaymi. The political status of Costa Rica is Presidential Republic, the modern politics began right after the civil war in 1948. In 1949 the country adopted the a constitution that included a labor code, social security, and social assistance. The government began to grow at a steady pace and promised to fulfill its social democratic contract with the people, which included free education, health coverage, and a system of pensions.
Due to the Governments firm promises, Costa Rica is one of the highest standards of living in Lain America and is a stable economy.
